Geoff Keighley, creator of The Game Awards, announced on Twitter that today at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT the new edition of Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition will commence. The event will last 5 days and during it we will see over 40 new games.

The virtual event will start around 18:00 and will last until March 23. Stream can be found at this address : https://store.steampowered.com/ however, it will not be active until the event starts. The spring edition is to abound with announcements and presentations – more than 40 new titles will be shown, which were originally to come to events like Indie Megabooth, Day of the Devs or Game Developers Conference (GDC), postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The first edition of the Steam Game Festival took place in December as an event accompanying The Game Awards 2019 gala. Then players saw 14 new games.
